There are so many things I'm trying not to think about just now, that I'm finding it impossible to settle to anything at all, including writing. Which makes having discovered flashslash a total life-saver, because I really need to write at the moment. Anyway, yet another miniature stress-relief fic, written for Flashslash prompt 80. On re-reading, I realised that the setting was probably inspired by mikes_grrl ’s Locked Up. This time I had the first line waiting, which didn’t seem to make that much difference in the end. 09:39 am [Link]	First Attempt at FlashSlash Late last night, I discovered the flashslash community, courtesy of halotolerant. I’ve spent far too much time lately editing stories that have been too long in the making, so I thought I’d give it a go. I haven’t posted the results at that community, because I didn’t feel like following prompts, and having read Halo’s awesome Hazel/Bigwig offering it was obvious I couldn’t begin to compete. I did write this in exactly eight minutes, though, adding only the quote marks after the time was up. It’s unpolished, to say the least - I’ve definitely written better in less time when the muse was on form - but I thought I’d post anyway and to hell with it.
